How to Help

Please help the Rambo Committee support the Christian Hospital Mungeli.

Rambo Committee, Inc. is designated as a non-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3)) and is organized under the laws of the state of Pennsylvania.

The purpose of the Rambo Committee is to support the work and mission of the Christian Hospital Mungeli, including its School of Nursing, and the Rambo Memorial Medium English School.

We are supporting ongoing capital development projects at Mungeli, including:

  • Cancer Treatment Facility:  Now under construction, the Cancer Treatment Facility will be the only one of its kind in the State of Chhattisgarh and will provide low-cost treatment available to all.
  • Nursing Students’ Hostel: There is an urgent need for a proper hostel facility to accommodate approximately 220 students at the recently-opened Nursing School.  Most students are low-income village girls, who receive the least expensive nursing education in the state.
  • Rambo Memorial Medium English School Building:  The impact of English Medium Education in a mission school will have the largest impact toward changing the health and socio-economic status of the people in the Mungeli area. There are 650 children in the school, and 450 of them are from the surrounding villages.  A new school building is under construction and will accommodate over a 1,000 children.  The ground floor is nearing completion, and 6 new classrooms are already in use.  There is pressing need for funds to complete the new building.

Also, there are several additional projects needing support, including:  A water recycling plant, additional staff housing, a new Chapel, and a new Intensive Care Unit (now under construction).
