Woman who  came to us needing emergency treatment suffering from a long neglected infection and improper care.

The main cause for our Emergency and ICU beds being filled up is mismanagement of critical medical treatments in the villages done by people who are not qualified (“quacks”). Due to the lack of education and poverty in the region, villagers do not have access to medical information. Quacks abound and promise quick fixes to critical health problems. These quacks make a living by getting medications and IV fluids readily over the counter and claiming to be able to treat most anything. Therefore, many patients come to us very sick or unconscious.

The Intensive Care unit is often full.
